Dana White Explains How UFC Combat Illegal Streaming

UFC generates multi-million dollars from its monthly pay-per-views. However, the pay-per-view prices are higher than fans are willing to pay. Therefore, some fans watch events through illegal streams.

During the Contender Series press conference, UFC CEO Dana White explained how UFC combats illegal streams. White said the company started prosecuting people a few years ago.

“Trust me, we know exactly how to combat piracy. I won’t tell you extensively what we do, every event, but we go after piracy hard and you saw a few years ago, we started prosecuting people. That’s how you combat piracy. Start f–king prosecuting people for stealing. There you go.”
