Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler Canceled, New UFC 303 Main Event Announced

UFC 303 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Conor McGregor was supposed to face Michael Chandler in the main event of the show. The fight had to be postponed due to McGregor sustaining an injury. Ariel Helwani stated that McGregor vs. Chandler will take place between August and September.

On X, Dana White announced the new main event for UFC 303. White said that Alex Pereira will defend his Light Heavyweight Championship against Jiri Prochazka at the event. Both fighters have agreed to the fight on short notice.

Dana White also announced that Brian Ortega will fight Diego Lopes in the co-main event. White added that Jamahal Hill has been out of action with a knee injury. Therefore, Carlos Ulberg will face Anthony Smith in a light heavyweight bout.
