The 36th annual Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place from the Alamodome on January 28th in San Antonio, Texas. As of this writing, WWE has announced three matches for the show aside from Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.

Earlier this month, WWE began airing vignettes of Cody Rhodes’ recovery from the injury that suffered last May. During last night’s WWE RAW, WWE aired another vignette of Cody Rhodes. In the video clip, the American Nightmare announced that he will return to WWE at the Royal Rumble match.
As of today, Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Baron Corbin, Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, Gunther, Omos, and Cody Rhodes have declared themselves to the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Liv Morgan, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, and Raquel Rodriguez announced their participation in the Women’s Royal Rumble so far.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair made her return to last night’s RAW and did a promo. Alexa Bliss then interrupted Belair and challenged her for the RAW Women’s Title at Royal Rumble. Bliss and Belair then fought each other in the crowd. Uncle Howdy appeared at the exit door to end the segment.

Here’s the updated card for Royal Rumble PLE.

  • Men’s Royal Rumble match.
  • Women’s Royal Rumble match.
  • Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens.
  • RAW Women’s Championship match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss.
  • Pitch Black Match: LA Knight vs. Bray Wyatt.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
