CM Punk Gives An Update On Recovery Process From Injury

Last May, CM Punk won the AEW Championship for the first time by defeating Adam Page at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. However, a few days later Punk suffered a foot injury, which kept him out of action for a few months. Meanwhile, Tony Khan introduced an Interim AEW World Title, which was won by Jon Moxley.

Last August, CM Punk return to AEW and challenged Moxley to a match at All Out pay-per-view. Punk won the AEW World Title at All Out and it was later revealed that he had suffered a torn triceps.
CM Punk involved in a backstage fight during an All Out press conference and his status with the company is still remains a secret.

The 44-year-old superstar has suffered injuries twice during his biggest matches in AEW. In an Instagram Story, CM Punk provided a positive update on his foot injury and also posted a summary of his training routine.

“First time doing road work since the broken foot. For anyone out there going through it: the light at the end of the tunnel is you.”

Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that CM Punk’s recovery process from his triceps injury is going well.

“C.M. Punk’s rehab of his torn triceps is said to be going really well.”
