Dominik Mysterio has become one of the breakout stars in WWE since he turned on his father at Clash at the Castle last year. Dominik has competed in more than 100 matches this year. He’s second only to Cody Rhodes.
The former NXT North American Champion is using Eddie Guerrero’s moves during the matches. Dirty Dom also has the same hairstyle that Eddie had in the 90s. Dominik and Rhea are currently portraying Eddie and Chyna’s storyline on WWE television.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Chavo Guerrero praised Dominik Mysterio’s work on WWE television. Chavo said that Dominik is collecting a big paycheck by using Eddie’s name, and the money should go to Eddie’s daughters.
“Well, he’s [Dominik Mysterio] is also collecting a big paycheck as well. I don’t know if the paycheck wasn’t there, would he be still doing it or would he have got moved on to imitating somebody else? That’s what I wonder about, it’s like ‘Hold on a second, because the zeros behind the numbers are probably pretty big.’ Especially right now the way WWE’s paying.
When Eddie’s daughters aren’t reaping benefits yes [It bothers]. If anybody should be making money off of Eddie Guerrero, it should be Eddie’s daughters. I don’t know if that’s correct [If Eddie’s daughters earned from merch sales] At least talk to them about it. That’s something that I would definitely wish they were, that’s their dad, that should have been in there, you know, his will and persona, his name and likeness should be to them.”
