Charlotte Flair Suffered An Injury On WWE SmackDown

Last night, Charlotte Flair faced Asuka on the Tribute To The Troops episode of SmackDown. The Empress picked up the victory with help from Bayley.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka faced an unexpected incident during a commercial break. Both were on top of the turnbuckle, and suddenly they lost their balance and landed on the mat. Charlotte’s leg hit the rope when she fell.

The Queen and The Empress continued their match. Charlotte hit Asuka with a backbreaker. Her knee twisted during the process. Charlotte clutched her left knee after that move. Charlotte Flair was then carried backstage by the referee and a medical person.

PWInsider reported that Charlotte “was being evaluated by WWE medical but has not heard anything additional. There was absolutely some concern among others talents about her knee specifically, but again, nothing concrete at this time.”
