Canelo Alvarez Comments On His Fight Going Head-To-Head With UFC 306

Canelo Alvarez is scheduled to defend his Unified Super Middleweight Championship against Edgar Berlanga on Saturday, September 14th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC 306 (Noche UFC), sponsored by Riyadh Season, is also set to take place on the same day at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. Recently, Dana White and Turki Alalshikh expressed their unhappiness about the Alvarez vs. Berlanga fight going head-to-head with UFC 306.

On the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Canelo Alvarez said that he’s not worried about his fight going head-to-head with Noche UFC.

“This is different. Maybe another boxing match, maybe, but Canelo is different. Canelo is just different. I don’t care if it’s the UFC, when Canelo fights it’s different.”
