Bryan Danielson along with Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz wrestled Jericho Appreciation Society in an Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 29th. However, The American Dragon suffered an injury during the bout.

Danielson was supposed to face NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door pay-per-view last month but he was removed from the match due to the severity of the injury. Claudio Castagnoli, also known as Cesaro took Danielson’s place and defeated Sabre Jr at the event.

Yesterday, Bryan Danielson appeared at San Diego Comic-Con where he announced his medical status. Danielson noted that he is medically cleared to wrestle and will be facing Daniel Garcia at AEW Dynamite this Wednesday.

AEW did not announce the exact nature of Bryan Danielson’s injury. Danielson’s fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Claudio Castagnoli became the new ROH World Champion last night after defeating Jonathan Gresham at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Now, all the members of BCC have championships except Danielson.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
