Britt Baker Suspended From AEW After Backstage Incident With MJF

Britt Baker is scheduled to face Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In in London, England. However, Baker has been suspended from All Elite Wrestling due to a backstage incident three weeks before the show.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Britt Baker has been suspended for “either one or two weeks.” The company’s disciplinary committee also fined her for the action.

Meltzer noted that Baker has shared her frustration about MJF with the women in the locker room at the July 17th AEW Dynamite. MJF’s girlfriend, Alicia Atout, had learned about it and told her boyfriend. MJF and Baker then got into an argument, and it led to an investigation.

The Human Resource Department interviewed the people backstage at the July 24th AEW Dynamite and has decided to suspend Britt Baker.
