Britney Abrahams Voluntarily Dismisses Lawsuit Against WWE Over Racial Discrimination

Last April, Britney Abrahams, who was a former writer for WWE, filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Christine Lubrana, Jeniffer Pepperman, Ryan Callahan, Chris Dunn, and Mike Heller over racial discrimination, a hostile work environment, and wrongful termination before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

In November of 2020, Britney Abrahams started working under WWE as a temporary writer for SmackDown. Britney then became a permanent employee of the company in May 2021. However, she was fired by WWE last year after taking home a WrestleMania 38 branded chair.

Last August, Britney Abrahams voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit without prejudice against all the defendants except World Wrestling Entertainment.

Today, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that Britney Abrahams has voluntarily dismissed her case against WWE with prejudice. Britney’s attorney has told Thurston that the case has been “resolved amicably.”
