Last week, Bray Wyatt made huge headlines after being absent from WWE television for a month. Wyatt was supposed to compete on the March 12th WWE live event against LA Knight in a Street Fight. However, he was absent from the show.
According to multiple reports, Wyatt is currently dealing with a physical issue. Amid Wyatt’s controversy, a long-time employee who created the Firefly Funhouse segments has reportedly departed from WWE.
Fightful Select reported that Nick Manfredini who worked with WWE for over a decade has gone from the company. Fightful was unable to confirm whether Manfredini left of his own volition or was fired.
“Fightful Select has confirmed that Nick Manfredini left the company earlier this year. Manfredini had been with WWE for well over a decade, having joined the fold in the spring of 2010. Manfredini was heavily influential in the creation and creative of the Firefly Funhouse segments.”

Ringside News confirmed that Nick Manfredini was fired from the company. They further noted that Manfredini “losing his job had absolutely nothing to do with budget cuts.”
“We’ve heard a bit about Nick Manfredini’s WWE release. After speaking to someone on the creative team, we can confirm that this was 100% NOT a budget cut situation. To go into exactly why he was fired about be a human resources issue, but it was not a resignation situation.”
