This past Monday on RAW, Bobby Lashley faced Seth Rollins to determine the No. 1 contender for the United States Championship. However, during the match, the referee suffered an injury and he was late for counting to three when Lashley covered Rollins. Seth Rollins then hit a pedigree to win the match.
Following the match, Bobby Lashley accidentally knocked out a referee, which was the second time that Lashley struck an official this month. Last week, Lashley speared a backstage producer, Pete Williams during a brawl against Rollins. Therefore, Adam Pearce fired Lashley right before the show went off the air.
Adam Pearce posted a video clip on social media and stated that Bobby Lashley is no longer fired.
“First and foremost, despite what I said last night, Bobby Lashley is not fired. That said, Bobby has repeatedly crossed the line, last night physically accosting two referees and putting his hands on me, not to mention Spearing WWE official Pete Williams last week,”
