Last month, Bobby Lashley defeated Brock Lesnar by disqualification at Elimination Chamber PLE. Many fans expected that the fourth match between Lashley and Lesnar will take place at WrestleMania. However, that didn’t happen.
The Almighty started a storyline with Bray Wyatt after Elimination Chamber PLE. Lashley and Wyatt last interacted with each other on the February 27th episode of Monday Night RAW. WWE then stopped advertising the match and multiple news outlets reported that Wyatt is dealing with a “physical issue.”
Last week, WWE announced that Bobby Lashley will compete in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal this Friday on SmackDown.
In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Bobby Lashley was asked whether the match against Bray Wyatt is happening at WrestleMania. Lashley said he is willing to face anyone at the Showcase of the Immortals.
“I have no idea. All I know is that I think I provoke fear in a lot of people. You can go out there with me, we can have a great match, but at the end of the day, The All Mighty always comes through. I’m looking for him, I’m looking for whoever wants to step up. Right now, a lot of people in the business are looking like, ‘this is going to be a fun match for me.’ If you want a real challenge, I’m the real challenge for anybody on the roster.”
