Last month, Asuka became the new RAW Women’s Champion by defeating Bianca Belair at Night of Champions. The Empress ended Belair’s 400-plus title reign in Saudi Arabia.

Last week, Asuka appeared on Grayson Waller’s “Grayson Waller Effects.” However, she was interrupted by the female locker room. The segment ended with Asuka and Bianca Belair involved in an altercation.

Both Women’s Championship holders were drafted to opposite brands during the 2023 WWE Draft. RAW Women’s Championship has been on the blue brand for weeks. Tonight, the status of the RAW Women’s Title would be changed.

WWE announced that Asuka will receive a new championship tonight on SmackDown.

This would be the third new championship that WWE introduced to the fans within the past two months. We assume Rhea Ripley will also get a new title on the upcoming episode of RAW.
