Asuka Removed From WWE Events After Being Injured On SmackDown

Asuka Removed From WWE Events After Being Injured On SmackDown

Asuka last competed on the March 11th episode of WWE RAW, where she and Kairi Sane successfully retained the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.

The Empress and the rest of the Damage CTRL members attacked Bayley this past Friday on SmackDown. Asuka was seen limping during the segment. Although there’s no official confirmation, it appears that Asuka has suffered an injury.

The Women’s Tag Team Champion was supposed to compete in this weekend’s live events in Augusta, Georgia and North Charleston, South Carolina. However, she was removed from both events.
