Alex Pereira Surpasses Jon Jones On Pound-For-Pound Rankings After UFC 303

This past Saturday, Alex Pereira defeated Jiri Prochazka by KO (head kick and punches) to retain the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 303. Pereira, who stepped into the octagon on short notice, won the performance of the night bonus ($303,000). Poatan’s UFC 303 performance also ranked him #2 in the pound-for-pound rankings.

UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev is still #1 on the list, while UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones dropped from #2 to #3.

UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards slipped from #3 to #4. Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall ranked #11, while Israel Adesanya ranked #12.
