By The Spotlight StaffSeptember 11, 2024
AEW Star Undergoes Successful Surgery

The Blade has been absent from in-ring action since early 2024. The AEW star last competed for Ring of Honor on January 10, where he and his tag team partner The Butcher lost to Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin). He also competed at an independent event on February 4.

On Instagram, the 44-year-old announced that he had successfully undergone back fusion surgery.

“Back fusion was a success 👍 Thank you to everyone for your continued support ❤️ Means a lot to this Grizzled Vet Utility Brother”
