AEW Star Out Of Action With An Injury

Ortiz has been absent from the squared circle for a few months. Ortiz last competed on the January 20th episode of AEW Collision, where he and Eddie Kingston lost to Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli in a Tag Team match.

On Isiah Kassidy’s vlog, the AEW star said that he suffered a torn pec after taking a clothesline. Ortiz added that he is scheduled to undergo surgery in two weeks and will be out of action for four months.

“I’m injured,” said Ortiz. “I’m about to get surgery in two weeks. It was just from a clothesline. I tore a pec. I tore my pec from a clothesline. It’s because I’m too jacked. I’m so jacked my tendons couldn’t keep up. Two weeks and four months [of] recovery time, and I’ll be back.”
