This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show kicked off with Renee Paquette interviewing MJF backstage. MJF called Adam Cole while Roderick Strong and Kingdom came to the scene with Roderick yelling, Adaaam. Cole then told MJF that he would call him back later. Roderick told MJF that he and Kingdom were willing to help MJF fight Bullet Club Gold. However, MJF refused Roderick’s proposal.
MJF defeated Juice Robinson in the Dynamite Diamond Ring match. After the bout, The Gunns attacked MJF. Roderick Strong and Kingdom came to MJF’s aid. However, The Gunns took out all of them. The Acclaimed then came and cleared the ring. The Gunns challenged MJF for the ROH Tag Team Titles at Full Gear. AEW World Champion accepted the challenge. MJF said that he and three partners of his choosing will take on Bullet Club Gold next Wednesday. Jay White must hand the AEW World Title to MJF if Bullet Club Gold loses the match. Kenny Omega then challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship. MJF said he will face Omega this Saturday on AEW Collision.
Rob Van Dam and Hook defeated The Dark Order in a Tag Team match.
Ric Flair made his AEW debut as Sting’s special gift from Tony Khan. Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne interrupted the segment. Christian challenged Sting, Darby Allin, and a partner of their choosing to face them at Full Gear. The Icon accepted the challenge.
The Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page defeated The Hardys and Brother Zay to retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles.
Hikaru Shida defeated Ruby Soho to retain the AEW Women’s Championship.
In the main event, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli defeated Orange Cassidy and Kazuchika Okada in a Tag Team match.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 774,000 viewers on TBS and a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
