Adam “Edge” Copeland’s First Match In AEW Announced

By The Spotlight StaffOctober 2, 2023
Adam "Edge" Copeland's First Match In AEW Announced

Last night, Adam Copeland also known as Edge made his debut in All Elite Wrestling at WrestleDream. The Rated R Superstar saved Sting and Darby Allin from Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Luchasaurus’ attack.

The WWE Hall of Famer appeared at the WrestleDream post-show media scrum. Before Edge spoke, AEW President Tony Khan said that Edge had signed a full-time deal, which means he will appear on AEW television weekly basis.

Edge said during the media scrum that he wanted to help and work with younger talent.

“I wanted to help, and I just felt like here I’d really be able to do that and have the opportunity to do that, and I look at this roster full of fresh faces, and many of them I have never laid hands on before and that to me, as a person who is driven by challenges, that for me, was the biggest thing.”

The Rated R Superstar is scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite in Stockton, California. Edge’s first match in All Elite Wrestling will take place on October 10th at Title Tuesday against Luchasaurus.
