Adam “Edge” Copeland Reveals WWE Management's Reaction To Him Joining AEW

This past Sunday, Adam “Edge” Copeland made his AEW debut after working 25 years under WWE. Edge saved Sting and Darby Allin from Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne’s attack.

Recently, The Rated R Superstar revealed in an interview that Beth Phoenix and his daughters told him to join Tony Khan’s promotion. Edge wants to finish his career along with Christian Cage.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated did an interview with WWE Hall of Famer and AEW star Adam Copeland. In the interview, Edge said that no one in WWE management is mad about him joining All Elite Wrestling. He also stated that WWE will continue to dominate the wrestling business.

“And I guarantee you this–they’re not mad. I’m not mad. I’ve received so many texts from the office, from the travel department, from the talent relations department, from the music department, from the performers, from the big suits, and none of them are mad. They’re happy for me. And I’m happy. They’re going to continue to crush it, too. And I have more of an opportunity to help the entire wrestling business in AEW.”

The 49-year-old star is scheduled to address the fans on tonight’s AEW Dynamite. The Rated R Superstar will face Luchasaurus on the October 10th episode of Dynamite: Title Tuesday.

WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite will air same time next week. Last night on NXT, WWE announced that John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Paul Heyman, and Asuka will be on next week’s show.
