A Lot Of AEW Stars Reportedly Frustrated With Booking Of Women’s Division

A Lot Of AEW Stars Reportedly Frustrated With Booking Of Women's Division

AEW President Tony Khan signed a lot of female wrestlers in the past couple of years. However, Khan was unable to build a few top female stars other than Britt Baker.

The lack of star power in the AEW women’s division is recently widely debated on social media. A fan carried a “Book The Womens Division Better” sign to this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite to point out the issue. The sign got a lot of fans’ attention and urged Khan to book the division better.

However, an independent wrestler LuFisto claimed that the AEW women’s division is toxic. Here’s an excerpt of her tweet.

“Talent with too much power; talent denigrating each other; talent trash-talking potential employees so they never get in as soon as they walk in…”

During a Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful stated that a lot of AEW women are frustrated with their bookings.

“A lot of the women are. But there’s also a lot of people who are very aloof and like, ‘Ah, why bother’ type of stuff, and obviously, you’re never gonna win those people over no matter what. You’re just never gonna win those people over.”
