AEW Collision Viewership & Demo Rating For September 2

This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tony Khan kicked off the show and addressed the fans about CM Punk’s termination.

Ricky Starks challenged Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat to a Strap match at All Out. Starks also signed the contract. However, Steamboat later revealed that Starks would be facing “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson at All Out. Danielson then signed the contract to make the match official.

The Acclaimed defeated Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard to retain the AEW World Trios Championships.

Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) defeated Nick Wayne and Komander in a Tag Team match.

NBA Hall of Famer “The Worm” Dennis Rodman made his AEW debut. Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal interrupted Rodman. Jarrett then offered Rodman to join his faction. Rodman shoved Sonjay Dutt. The rest of the members then surrounded Rodman. The Acclaimed came to the ring for Rodman’s aid. Billy Gunn said they put the AEW World Trios Titles on the line against Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal at All Out.

The Outcasts defeated Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander in a Six-Woman Tag Team match.

In the main event, Jay White defeated Dax Harwood. The Bullet Club Gold attacked FTR after the match. Young Bucks made the save.

According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the September 2nd episode of AEW Collision drew 345,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The previous episode (August 26) drew 552,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
