This past Sunday, Bryan Danielson faced Kazuchika Okada in the main event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Unfortunately, Danielson suffered an injury during the match. However, he was able to finish the bout after putting a Lebell Lock on Okada.

The American Dragon appeared on the Forbidden Door post-show media scrum with a brace on his right arm. Bryan Danielson said that the injury occurred after hitting an Elbow Drop on Okada. Danielson also said that he fractured his right forearm ten minutes before the match was finished.

Bryan Danielson initially said that he’s expected to be back in the squared circle within 6-8 weeks. However, Brie Garcia posted an X-Ray of her husband’s fractured arm and stated that the injury is worse than first thought.

“Not sure to be proud or chastise him for wrestling 10 more minutes with this break!!
Definitely worse than we thought!! @bryanIdanielson
Nurse Brie ready for action!!”
