Today, Will Ospreay faced Lance Archer in the final of the IWGP United States Championship tournament at Dominion. Ospreay qualified for the finals by defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Resurgence. Archer advanced to the finals by defeating Fred Rosser at NJPW Collision.

Will Ospreay delivered a Hidden Blade on Archer to become the No.1 contender for the IWGP United States Title. Following the match, Ospreay said that he will go to Canada to get back the title from Kenny Omega.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 25th at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It appears that fans will be able to see the rematch between Omega and Ospreay for the IWGP US Title at Forbidden Door.

Another match for Forbidden Door has been confirmed during today’s Dominion event. Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii defeated Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Shota Umino for NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles at Dominion.

Following the match, Bryan Danielson appeared on the screen and challenged Okada to a match. Okada then accepted the challenge and indicated that the match would happen at Forbidden Door.
