Ronda Rousey made her return on the May 15th episode of Monday Night RAW, where she and Shayna Baszler attacked Raquel Rodriguez.

Two weeks ago, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan had to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Titles after Morgan’s shoulder injury. Last week, Rodriguez aligned with Shotzi.

Last night on RAW, Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Bayley & Iyo Sky and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville competed in a fatal four-way tag team match for the vacated Women’s Tag Team Championships. Rousey put an armbar on Shotzi to win the tag team titles.

In an interview with The New York Post, Baddest Woman on the Planet stated that WWE should more focus on developing the women’s tag team division.

“Well, the lack of competition is really the problem. I mean, we want to be the most active champions out there. I want to be able to defend this title every week and even twice a week on both SmackDown and Raw. But with how dismally shallow the women’s division is right now, there’s not enough women around here to keep us busy for a month. And so that’s the biggest challenge that we have is to get this company to actually care and invest into this tag division.”
