AEW President Tony Khan is a controversial figure in pro wrestling. Khan recently exchanged a few tweets with Ariel Helwani which gained huge attention.

In the past few months, Tony Khan booked random matches on AEW Dynamite & Rampage without a storyline. Some of that random matches should be held in pay-per-views.

Yesterday, Tony Khan announced that Kenny Omega will face El Hijo del Vikingo on the upcoming episode of Dynamite. Soon after the announcement, a lot of fans questioned who El Hijo del Vikingo is.

A fan who defended Tony Khan’s bookings issued a statement on Twitter for the fans who don’t know Vikingo. Khan’s supporter urged the fans to use Google instead of asking who he is.

In response, Tony Khan tweeted that the fans who criticize AEW aren’t real.

“They aren’t doing it to be genuine. A large % of those replies aren’t from real people, a lot of them are accounts that upon inspection seem to only exist to question and rip AEW and most of their other content seems to be a cover story to justify the existence of these accounts.”

“One of my favorite bits they do is when they claim they used to love AEW in the old days, but not anymore, yet when you dig into their old posts, there’s nothing positive on AEW ever. Yes, I’m sure you all used to be great fans despite no evidence of that whatsoever.”
