On Saturday, WWE held a live event in Charlotte North Carolina. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks were supposed to be in the show. But they were pulled from the show due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Both Superstars were scheduled to wrestle each other on Sunday in South Carolina. But they were pulled from that show too. WWE still didn’t give any reason as to why they were not at the shows.
Paul Davis of Wrestling News reported that, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair arrived at the arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, but both women didn’t appear to the show.
We will not speculate on what could be keeping them off shows but we will note that fans saw Banks and Belair arriving at the arena on Saturday night so they were there but something came up that kept them off the show.
However, fans in South Carolina got a great show. In the event Big E defeated Seth Rollins in a singles match. After Rollins went to backstage, Big E introduced his New Day teammates.
They (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) wrestled a tag team match against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP. During the closing moment of the match, Big E came to the ringside wearing a towel to distract Lashley, and help The New Day to win the match. Fans at the arena loved that segment. Big E kept it as PG. You can watch the video here.
