WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Results: Bray Wyatt Returns, Ronda Rousey Wins SmackDown Women's Title

WWE Extreme Rules premium live event took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Here are the quick results of Extreme Rules PLE.

The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Butch) defeated Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci) in a six-man tag team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match. Sheamus hit a brogue Kick on Giovanni Vinci to win the match.

Ronda Rousey became the new SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Liv Morgan in an Extreme Rules Match. Ronda Rousey put a bicep crusher submission on Liv Morgan. Liv then passed out and the referee rang the bell.

Karrion Kross defeated Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match. Scarlett pepper sprayed McIntyre’s eye and then Kross hit an elbow to the back of the Scottish Warrior to win the match.

Bianca Belair retained her RAW Women’s Championship by defeating Bayley in a Ladder Match. During the match, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai interfered but Belair was able to hit a double KOD on Dakota and Iyo. In the end, Belair hit a KOD on Bayley on a ladder. Belair then climbed the ladder and grabbed the RAW Women’s Title.

Finn Balor defeated Edge in an “I Quit Match”. Rhea Ripley handcuffed Edge into the top rope. Rey Mysterio then came to the ring with a chair to help Edge, but Dominik Mysterio attacked Rey. Beth Phoenix then came to the ring and attacked all members of The Judgement Day with a kendo stick. Beth Phoenix then relieved Edge from the handcuff. However, Ripley hit Beth with brass knuckles, and the other Judgment Day members attacked Edge. After Rhea Ripley threatened to hit con-chair-to on Beth’s head and Edge said the word “I Quit”. However, after the match, Rhea Ripley hit Beth Phoenix with a chair.

Matt Riddle defeated Seth Rollins inside Fight Pit. Riddle put a triangle choke on Rollins and then Rollins tapped out.

After the Fight Pit match, lights went out and Firefly fun house puppets appeared in the crowd during Bray Wyatt’s “he’s got the whole world in his hands” music. At one point camera showed The Fiend in the crowd. Later, The Eater of the world Bray Wyatt appeared to end the Extreme Rules PLE.
