WWE Money in the Bank is scheduled to take place on July 2nd at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Two Title matches have been added to the card. Bianca Belair will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley. Also, Ronda Rousey will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Natalya. Two MITB qualifying matches were held on last night’s SmackDown.

Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. The match ended with no contest.

Another MITB qualifying match was Lacey Evans vs. Xia Li. Evans picked up the victory over Li. Xia Li was highlighted throughout the match as she performed various high-flying moves to make the match great. However, following the match, Li was lying on the mat, and she appeared to be injured. The referee Charles Robinson and backstage officials were checked on her condition. Later she got out of the ring with help from the referee and doctor.

This is an unfortunate period for the wrestling industry. Several WWE and AEW wrestlers have been injured during the last two months, including CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and Cody Rhodes.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
