The WWE Board of directors’ investigation of Vince McMahon’s hush money deal changed the entire WWE structure in a week. Not only McMahon but also John Laurinaitis has been in the allegation. Since his name surfaced in the Wall Street Journal article, Laurinaitis was not at the SmackDown backstage this past Friday, and also, he was not at RAW backstage last night either.

PWInsider reported that WWE has temporarily replaced John Laurinaitis with Bruce Prichard as Head of Talent Relations.

“WWE issued a memo to talent this evening following Raw announcing that Bruce Prichard is the Interim Head of Talent Relations going forward, PWInsider.com has learned.

WWE also informed talents that “pending the conclusion of our Board of Directors’ internal investigation” John Laurinaitis (who has not been on the road since the investigation was publicly revealed) has been placed on “administrative leave.“

Fightful Select reported that those in the WWE consider it is a good thing that John Laurinaitis stepped down as Head of Talent Relations, but there was no positive reaction at WWE backstage when Bruce Prichard came to Laurinaitis’ position.

Vince McMahon appeared on last night’s WWE RAW and announced that John Cena is coming back next week. McMahon also appeared on SmackDown this past Friday. Seems like McMahon will be appearing on the upcoming shows and saying random things until the investigation ends.

"#WWERaw has been on the air for almost 30 years. 20 of those years have been dominated by the greatest @WWE Superstar of all time. And that man makes his return to #WWERaw next week … @JohnCena!" – Mr. McMahon pic.twitter.com/XURzJ7z18j
