WATCH: Roxanne Perez Celebrated With Booker T and Shawn Michaels After Winning NXT Women's Title

This past Tuesday on NXT, Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Mandy Rose. Roxanne earned the championship opportunity by winning the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. The 21-Year-Old Star was finally able to end Mandy’s 413-day championship reign. However, Mandy Rose was then immediately released from the company.

Following the match, NXT commentator Booker T was very emotional after Roxanne’s championship victory. She was a former student of Booker T’s wrestling school, “Reality of Wrestling.”

The official Twitter account of WWE posted the behind the scene footage of Shawn Michaels hugging the newly crowned champion. Roxanne and Michaels did the following iconic pose in the photoshoot.

After winning the title, Roxanne posted the following photo on her social media and stated that “My heart is so full.”
