Montez Ford last competed on the September 24th Saturday Night Main Event, where he wrestled in a tag team match. Ford teamed with his partner Angelo Dawkins and defeated The Alpha Academy. However, Ford suffered a calf injury during the match, which led him out of action for two months.

Montez Ford appeared on WWE television on the October 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW and was spotted wearing a walking boot.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and her husband Montez Ford appeared on NBC Today. During the interview, Ford said that he is 100 percent medically cleared to compete.

“100 percent now. I should be back pretty soon. You know, just picking my spots and making sure when I arrive, the mission is still at hand, which is with my right-hand man, 100 grand, Angelo Dawkins. That’s getting the Undisputed Tag Team Championships.”
