This past Friday’s AEW Rampage kicked off with an Eight-Man Tag Team match. The Hardys and Best Friends faced Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Daniel Garcia, and Jake Hager. In the closing moment, Matt Hardy hit Garcia with a Twist of Fate. Trent Beretta then delivered a Crunch. Jeff Hardy pinned Garcia after hitting a Swanton Bomb.
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta defeated Wise Guy Ruiz and Levi Shapiro in a Tag Team match.
Johnny TV faced Komander, Lince Dorado, and Penta El Zero Miedo to earn a ROH World Championship match. Komander pinned Lince Dorado to win the match.
In the main event, Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida defeated Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir in a Tag Team match.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the October 6th episode of AEW Rampage drew 365,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
