Last week, Becky Lynch became the new NXT Women’s Champion by defeating Tiffany Stratton. Becky’s appearance last Tuesday was able to draw a lot of viewers. The Man defended her title against former champion Stratton on this past weekend’s live events.
Last night, Becky Lynch appeared on RAW with the newly won Championship and issued an open challenge for any new member of the women’s roster. However, that challenge was accepted by the longest-tenured female on the roster Natalya. The Grand Slam Man successfully retained the title.
Sean Ross of Fightful Select reported that Tegan Nox was supposed to accept Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship open challenge. However, WWE changed the plan for some reason. Nox competed on WWE Main Event.

WWE taped the Main Event before the RAW broadcast began.
