AEW Collision Viewership & Demo Rating For September 9

This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Jon Moxley kicked off the show with his AEW International Championship open challenge. Moxley defeated Action Andretti to retain the title.

Kris Statlander defeated Robyn Renegade to retain the TBS Championship. The Renegade sisters attacked Statlander after the match. Jade Cargill made her return and attacked the Renegade sisters. Cargill then hit a Jaded on Statlander.

Tony Schiavone interviewed Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston in the backstage. Kingston challenged Castagnoli to a title vs. title match on September 20th at AEW GrandSlam.

Bullet Club Gold defeated Aerostar, Dios Del Inframundo, and Gravity in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
Rey Fenix defeated Angelico.

Roderick Strong defeated Darby Allin to qualify for the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Bryan Danielson indicated that he will retire from pro wrestling next year. Danielson then challenged Zack Sabre Jr. to a match at WrestleDream. Ricky Starks and Big Bill then interrupted Danielson and attacked him. Jon Moxley came for Danielson’s aid. However, Starks and Bill got the upper hand.

In the main event, Samoa Joe defeated Penta El Zero Miedo to advance to the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the September 9th episode of AEW Collision drew 476,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The previous episode (September 2) drew 345,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
